In Overwatch 2, the 7700 XT offered an average framerate that sat around 303FPS, which is the strongest result we’ve seen within our entire testing suite. This card really thrives at 1080p, offering frames that sit well above the 144Hz sweet spot, making it a perfect card for those with a high refresh rate monitor. This GPU even beat out the RTX 4060 Ti in this benchmark, which was an impressive feat.

Overwatch 2 @ 1080p Ultra

Overwatch 2 @ 1440p

In our 1440p benchmark of Overwatch 2, the number did shift a bit, but not by a huge margin. The 7700 XT was able to output around 221 frames, which puts it extremely close to the 4060 Ti yet again. Although there is a definitive loss in performance at this resolution, at frames this high the difference would be pretty negligible, and consumers will still be able to enjoy a smooth experience.

Next up is Warzone 2. We fired up this game and set it to a 1080p resolution, which allowed us to enjoy pretty smooth framerates across the board. Warzone is a relatively unoptimised title, so there is a noticeable difference in this game versus Overwatch 2, but the 7700 XT was still able to easily output 145FPS, allowing us to make use of a smooth refresh rate too.
