James started the GeekaWhat YouTube channel back in 2013, as a way to funnel his passion for technology into a hobby. Through building out the channel, James discovered a strong passion for media production and quickly taught himself how to edit videos in Final Cut Pro, and later Adobe Premiere Pro. James used these skills to make better and better videos, and continued growing the channel from there on in.

Recently, James has been focussing on building the business into a media publisher, while providing video production and agency-style services to a number of brands and clients local to the business.
