At the front of the Sky Two GX, you’ll find three pre-installed 140mm RGB fans, which can be switched to the top panel based on cooling preferences. On the radiator front, the Sky Two GX has space for up to two 360mm radiators on the top and front panels, while the rest are reserved for 120mm fans. Additionally, this case offers support for E-ATX motherboards and graphics cards up to 400mm long, so there’s ample clearance inside the chassis. IO selection is also fairly decent with three ports in total, two USB 3.0 Type-C, and a single USB Type-C port, alongside separate 3.5mm microphone and headphones jacks.

2. Fractal Design Focus 2

The Fractal Design Focus 2 builds upon the original Focus range, opening up the case with some mesh airflow panels while sticking to a familiar yet reserved design. The Focus 2 is well-constructed, and the metal is sturdy and robust. The entire front panel of the Focus 2 is mesh allowing air to easily flow through and assist thermals. This is also where the two pre-installed 140mm Aspect fans are located.

Regarding component support, the Focus 2 has extensive space for fans, with room for six 120mm fans or four 140mm fans. Alternatively, those with liquid coolers can install a 360mm radiator at the front or a 240mm at the top of the case. This chassis has plenty of internal space for large components, including graphics cards up to 405mm in length, which is more than enough room for a future Radeon 7000 or RTX 4000 upgrade.

3. Corsair 3500X

At Computex 2024, we had an opportunity to wander around the Corsair booth and look at all the exciting new products set to be released in 2024 and 2025. One of the latest components we were fortunate to look at is the Corsair 3500X case. This chassis is a blend of the 2500X and 6500X, which will be recognisable to those familiar with Corsair’s case branding.

The Corsair 3500 range utilises the seamless panoramic glass design of the 2500X and 6500X but sits in between the two in size; it isn’t quite as big as the 6500X but has more space than the 2500X. Corsair is releasing three different models of the 3500X, one without fans, one with RGB fans, and one with addressable iCUE LINK RGB fans, providing extra customizability out of the box.

Much like the 2500 and 6500 case ranges, the 3500X series supports the reverse connector motherboards from MSI (PROJECT ZERO) and ASUS (BTF). There’s no word on Gigabyte PROJECT STEALTH support, but we might see this saturate the market once the new boards hit the shelves.

Component support is solid across the board, with space for 360mm radiators on the top and side panels and room for up to ten 120mm fans. The most impressive point to note about this case is its price, which for the standard 3500X is an MSRP of $89. This is one of Corsair’s cheapest cases and might be the best-value option to dethrone the 4000D Airflow. While this is only the price for the base model, $89 is a highly competitive offer compared to other similarly styled cases on the market.

4. Montech King 95 Pro

The Montech King 95 Pro is one of the best cases released in 2024. This case offers a strong value proposition for several reasons. This includes a sophisticated and sleek aesthetic with panoramic curved glass. Six included RGB fans to assist airflow and cooling. A versatile internal layout that accommodates 360mm and 240mm radiators and up to nine fans.

From a design point of view, the King 95 Pro is one of the best-looking cases we’ve seen, and it utilises the fish tank style. The curved glass offers a nice aesthetic change to the traditional box layout, and this panel is easily removed without the addition of any tools, making the building process seamless and straightforward.

While the King 95 Pro is a mid-range case, the price is exceptional considering what’s on offer. Very few cases offer six pre-installed fans straight out of the box, and there’s plenty of upgrading room for future component purchases. Overall, the Montech King 95 Pro is a great-value case that we’d recommend considering for mid-range PC builds.

5. NZXT H7 Flow (2024)

In 2022, NZXT updated their H510 range of cases, maintaining the modern aesthetic while increasing airflow and improving component support with a rebrand to ‘H7’. Since then, the H7 Flow has seen three different versions, with an update in 2023 and 2024. The 2024 version is the most recent variation and offers a modern aesthetic with a less aggressive approach to airflow.

The front panel features a mesh panel, assisting thermals while keeping out any dust or potential blockages. There are also additional perforations around the case on the top, rear, and opposing side panels. Each panel around the chassis is also tool-less, making them incredibly easy to remove or install for quick access to the internals.

The front ‘X’ design looks awesome while providing structural stability and carry handles at the top of the case.

This chassis has hinged tempered glass panels on both sides and RGB across the front and side panels. The side can also be optionally swapped out for fans or drive mounting. The DeepCool CH360 & CH560 cases are budget airflow-focused chassis, providing a minimalist aesthetic and ample space for modern parts. The CH360 is the smaller of the two supporting Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX boards, while the CH560 can house ATX and E-ATX boards. The CH360 is designed for compact systems but has enough clearance for a 360mm AIO at the front of the case and graphics cards up to 320mm long. This means your GPU choice will be slightly restricted, but there is plenty of choice regarding SFF (small form factor) graphics cards.

Cases to Watch Out For

At Computex 2024, we were fortunate enough to look at various brands’ new components and products. The main booths that piqued our interest were Montech and Antec.

Montech, in particular, has become highly popular in the past year or so due to its affordable and premium cases. The King 95 Pro is a staple in several of our mid-range and high-end PC builds, so we were excited to see a smaller King 65 Pro and King 95 MEGA Pro. These new designs offer a different form factor, catering to those looking to build a smaller or more enthusiast-level system.

Additionally, the Sky 3 improves upon the design of the Sky Two GX, an excellent budget airflow-focused case. The HS01 maximises cooling support with a unique twist; two of the rear fans are mounted to the outside of the case, increasing internal clearance.

Antec, again, has surged in popularity due to the number of cases they have in the current market. The Enthoo and NV ranges are top-rated for high-end systems, so it’s no surprise that Antec has continued to develop new cases ideal for top-end builds.

For instance, the Performance 1M case is a compact SFX case with a premium chassis and utilises a dual-chamber design for better component clearance. It also comes with a riser cable for a graphics card.

The Flux, a budget mid-tower case priced at around $90, is on the other side of the spectrum. The Flux is built from steel and plastic but has wood accents around the panelling, giving it a more modern look. Overall, we’re excited to see these new Montech and Antec cases hit the shelves later in 2024 and at the start of 2025.
