We’re currently in Taiwan at Computex 2024, checking out all the new PC components and tech releases from various brands and manufacturers. We’ve headed over to the Montech booth to see what’s on offer.
The principal focus from Montech is their new range of cases, including an amped version of the ever-popular King 95 Pro, a smaller King 65, and some budget-oriented designs such as the Sky 3 and the Air 200 ARGB. However, one of the more exciting offerings from Montech is a new range of keyboards, with their MKey Pro and MA ranges hitting the shelves later this year.
As always, with our Computex coverage, we’ll briefly look at each component with details on each part and share our thoughts and insights.
PC Cases
King 95 MEGA Pro
The King 95 Pro is an incredibly popular case due to its seamless glass panel design, ample internal space, and a whopping six pre-installed fans that it comes with straight out of the box. Cue 2024: Montech has introduced their ‘MEGA’ variant of the King 95 Pro, a full-tower version with even more space than before.
Montech has maintained the curved glass panel, but the front and side have been split into two separate panels, we imagine, due to the case size. Because of its size, the King 95 MEGA Pro supports 420mm radiators at the top and bottom of the case, with space for 360mm coolers at the side. It comes with an enormous seven pre-installed fans, all of which are addressable RGB options.

With an MSRP of $199, very few cases currently offer such insane value at this price point. Montech expects to launch the King 95 MEGA Pro around Q2 of 2025.
Montech King 65 Pro
The King 65 Pro is Montech’s smaller form factor version of the King 95 Pro, maintaining the seamless glass design while offering a great set of features. This case comes in at a considerably lower MSRP than the King 95 Pro, with an estimated MSRP of $89.99. But despite this, the King 65 Pro is still a highly competitive offering. There’s ample space for large components with space for graphics cards up to 420mm long, a 360mm radiator at the top, and 240mm at the side.

The King 65 Pro has six pre-installed fans and can house up to five 2.5-inch or two 3.5-inch drives. Unfortunately, this chassis doesn’t support reverse connector motherboards, but there’s space for Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and ATX boards. Aesthetically, the King 65 Pro is a gorgeous case and an ideal chassis for those looking for a smaller form factor version. We’re excited to build with this case when it launches in Q3 of 2024.
Montech Sky 3 / Sky 3 Performance
The Montech Sky 2 is a high-airflow case designed to offer excellent performance on a budget. The Sky 3 and Sky 3 Performance models offer a slightly different design to the Sky 2 while providing modern features.
The significant difference between the performance and non-performance cases is the amount of included fans and the front panel. The Sky 3 performance has four 140mm pre-installed fans, while the standard Sky 3 only has three. Additionally, the performance version has a mesh front panel, while the standard Sky 3 uses glass instead.
On the features front, both Sky 3 variants support reverse connector motherboards up to the ATX form factor. Each case can house 360mm liquid coolers at the top with space for 240mm on the side. Additionally, the Sky 3 has space for graphics cards up to 430mm long and can support air coolers up to 190mm tall.

Pre-Installed Fans | 3 x 140mm Performance: 4 x 140mm |
MSRP | $109 Performance: $119 |
There are some slight design differences worth noting, too. The Sky 3 features the signature wraparound glass on the front and side panels that we’ve seen with chassis like the King 95 Pro. The Sky 3 performance only has a single glass side panel, with mesh at the front for better airflow. MSRP sits at $109 and $119 for the standard and performance versions, respectively. Montech expects this case to ship in Q2 of 2025.
Montech HS01
The Montech HS01 is a unique case designed to maximise component space. The HS01 is particularly special because Montech has shifted the internal layout of the case to provide as much room as possible. For example, the rear fans are now outside the case (with support for two instead of one), the power supply sits in the rear chamber, and the motherboard tray features a sink-in design to provide the most clearance possible for all your parts, including the AIO.
Doing this should smooth the building process, minimising hassle across the board. The Montech HS01 supports reverse connector motherboards up to the ATX form factor. It comes with two USB 3.0 Type-A ports on the front panel, a USB Type-C port and separate Microphone and Audio jacks.

This case can also house large graphics cards up to 400mm long and has space for a single 360mm liquid cooling radiator at the top. At $99.99, the HS01 is a highly competitive and innovative design that will be an ideal pickup for those looking to minimise build time and maximise internal space. Releasing in Q4 of 2024, we’re curious to see how these changes truly affect the building process.
Montech Air 200 ARGB
The Montech Air 200 ARGB is a small form factor mid-tower case offering support for reverse connector motherboards and large graphics cards. This chassis accommodates Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX motherboards and has 400mm of clearance for longer graphics cards. It offers ample space for cooling, supporting 11 120mm fans. The Air 200 can also house a 360mm radiator at the top and a 240mm liquid cooler at the side.
Specification | Montech Air 200 ARGB |

Radiator Support | Top: Up to 360mm Side: Up to 240mm |
Pre-Installed Fans | N/A |
MSRP | $89.99 |
The Montech Air 200 ARGB doesn’t offer a particularly exciting set of features. Still, with an MSRP of $89.99, Montech is yet again offering highly competitive prices for its cases, making it one of the stronger value manufacturers on the market. This case is expected to launch around Q2 of 2025 and will be a great pickup for those building a smaller PC.
Keyboards
Montech MKey Pro
Montech has also launched a series of peripherals, which we’ve looked at. The MKey Pro is a 75% mechanical keyboard with 81 keys. It uses Gateron G Pro 3.0 Brown switches, which are Tactile. These switches have an operating force of 55gf, with a pre-travel distance of 2mm and a travel distance of 4mm, which is a relatively light feel.
The keycaps are doubleshot PBT and use an OEM profile. The keycap set looks slightly larger than most standard OEM keycaps, which is a bonus if you prefer chunkier keycaps. The MKey Pro features tri-mode connectivity (wired, 2.4GHz, and Bluetooth), making it ideal for those with a portable setup. It also comes with a small rotary dial at the top right of the keyboard, which can be used for media controls.
Specifications | Montech MKey Pro |
---|---|
Size | 75% (81 Keys) |
Keycap Material | Doubleshot PBT |
Switches | Gateron G Pro 3.0 Brown |
Connectivity | Wired, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth |
RGB | No |
Montech offers a few colour variants for the MKey Pro, with the ‘Freedom’ version being blue and white and the ‘Darkness’ option coming in black and grey with a couple of red keys. At $79, the MKey Pro is affordable, and we’re excited to see it released sometime in Q3 of 2024.
Montech MA1/MA2
The MA1 and MA2 keyboards are retro-themed designs, leaning towards the IBM Model M and Model F series. Montech, unfortunately, hasn’t provided much detail about the switches or the keycaps, but from a glance, the keycaps look to be doubleshot PBT and use an OEM profile, similar to the MKey Pro.
Both MA variants feature a built-in wrist rest and use premium aluminium housing, making them sturdy and robust. The MA1 features button controls at the top, which can change media settings and lighting. In contrast, the MA2 has two rotary knobs at the top on the sides of the chassis, which control lighting and volume. The MA1 and MA2 are launching at $149 and are set to hit shelves around Q2 of 2025.
