A lot of the components used in this build are slightly above what the average gamer would expect to pay, so this motherboard will help bring the overall pricing back down to an affordable rate.

Despite being one the cheaper B760 motherboards on the market, the B760 DS3H AX still provides all of the necessary connections to put together a system packed with the latest components. The particular RAM kit we’ve used for this build includes transfer speeds of 5200MT/s and a CL40 CAS latency. Whilst this means we won’t be able to take full advantage of the 7600MT/s limit on the motherboard, this will be more than capable of providing fluid gameplay that will cut loading times down to a few seconds in a range of AAA titles.

Despite the lack of RGB lighting, the Vengeance DDR5 RAM helps to elevate the internals of a system, mainly thanks to the triangular pattern covering the DIMMs feeling right at home within a gaming PC.

SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB

When it comes to performance, Samsung’s 990 Pro is one of the best SSDs on the market, especially if you’re looking to stick to a budget. Whilst the arrival of Gen5 SSDs has given this drive a run for its money on the performance front, the drop in price of Gen4 options across the board has made the likes of the 990 Pro the best choice for PC builders looking to the best bang for their buck.

With read and write speeds of 7.45GB/s and 6.9GB/s respectively, the 990 Pro will have no problems running the latest titles, providing optimal loading times in the process.
