As the CES 2024 announcements continue to roll out, Cooler Master have just released the Ncore 100 MAX, a compact PC case designed to offer a balance of style and substance. This PC case uses an innovative expandable chassis to cram as much support for high-end PC components into its compact mini-ITX design, whilst also offering pre-installed cooling and power to keep the building process as simplistic as possible.
Available in both grey and bronze colourways, this PC case supposedly boasts the smallest footprint on the market, making it the perfect chassis for anyone looking to prioritise desk space. Despite the base of the design being the size of an A5 piece of paper, the Ncore 100 Max manages to house a range of top-tier gaming components, including RTX 4090 graphics cards.

In terms of features, the Ncore 100 MAX comes equipped with a custom 120mm AIO liquid cooler, as well as a V850 SFX Gold ATX 3.0 power supply. This eliminates a lot of the hassle during the building process, which is helped further by the tool-less release mechanisms and included PCI-E 4.0 cable. But the most intriguing aspect of this mini-tower PC case is the innovative extendable width frame, which transforms the 3-slot GPU bay into a 3.9 GPU slot, in order to accommodate larger graphics cards.
As for the design, the subtle tones and aluminium alloy housing also creates an aesthetic that is suited towards gamers and professionals alike, allowing the Ncore 100 MAX to be utilised in a range of environments.
According to Cooler Master CEO, Jimmy Sha, the brand “has always been at the forefront of innovation and, with the Ncore 100 MAX, we’re pushing the boundaries of SFF design”. He also states that “Our vision was to create a case that is not only compact, cool, and capable of housing the latest and most powerful components, but also a joy to build in”.
Whilst Cooler Master are yet to provide a specific launch date, the Ncore 100 MAX is set to release on the week commencing the 22nd January 2024. The case will be available at various retailers for £359.99. However, an early bird discount will be applied for the first two weeks after launch, bringing the price down to £339.99.
