We’re here at Gamescom 2025 checking out all of the new hardware and games that are highly anticipated releases set to hit the shelves in Q4 of 2025 and throughout the year in 2026. One booth in particular caught our eye, which was ASUS. ASUS is a veteran of the PC gaming hardware market, so it’s no surprise to see them here showing off the latest products that they’ve cooked up for budding gamers and enthusiasts looking to build their next PC.

In this article, we’ll be covering some of the exciting new product ranges that ASUS has revealed, which include sparkly new OLED monitors, high-performance CPU coolers paired with the famous anime singer Hatsune Miku, alongside some powerful routers and a rather interesting-looking graphics card for their 30th anniversary. So join us as we break down each of these exciting offerings below.

ASUS Gamescom 2025 Line-up

OLED Monitors

ASUS, for quite some time, has been a pioneer in the OLED gaming monitor space, so we’re always keen to see what new product selections are on offer in their high visual fidelity line-up of displays. ASUS were showing off three standout monitors at their booth: the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W, the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG, and the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2.

The first of the three is a 27-inch display which maximises refresh rates, and is currently the fastest gaming monitor on the planet. It has a native refresh rate of 540Hz at 4K, but its second mode allows gamers to switch to an even higher refresh rate, maxing out at 720Hz at 1080p. This display features ASUS’ new Tandem technology, which brings 15% higher peak brightness, 25% wider colour volume, and a 60% longer lifespan compared to previous generation OLED displays. All these technologies work in synergy to provide the ultimate visual experience, combining speed and fidelity.

This display offers extensive connectivity, including support for DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 and HDMI 2.1. ASUS claims it has a 99.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a Delta E of less than 2, indicating excellent colour accuracy. It also utilises something ASUS refers to as a Neo Proximity Sensor, which switches the screen to black when it detects that the user has moved away from the screen.

The ROG Strix XG27AQWMG is another 26.5-inch design with a 280Hz refresh rate at 4K and a 0.03ms response time, designed for intense gaming sessions. It also features the same technology as the previously mentioned XG27AQWP-W, along with a 30% smaller stand, freeing up plenty of desk space for your peripherals.

The last OLED monitor is the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2. This is a 26.5-inch design, equipped with a 240Hz refresh rate at 4K. It utilises a WOLED panel, which offers higher contrast and deeper blacks compared to traditional OLED models. It also uses a TrueBlack glossy coating, which allows it to maintain excellent colour hues in any setting, even when there’s glare.

All three of the OLED monitors that we took a look at offered crystal-clear clarity and are a gamer’s dream. Additionally, ASUS hasn’t forgotten about the design, with each display offering a unique rear panel with plenty of RGB and futuristic-looking display stands.

ROG x Hatsune Miku

ASUS ROG pairs up with Hatsune Miku on a range of components, offering an awesome theme across the board. ASUS have redesigned some of their top-performing components, such as a ROG Astral RTX 5080, or their ROG THOR 1200W power supply, to feature Hatsune Miku’s signature lavish blue design with various liveries depicting the singer herself. While we won’t go into detail here on the components, we’ve shared a gallery below of some of our favourite ROG x Miku designs.

ASUS 30th Anniversary GPU: ROG Matrix

ASUS has been one of the leading manufacturers in the graphics card industry for 30 years, constantly redefining performance and pushing the bar higher with every new generation of graphics cards. To celebrate and honour their time in this space, ASUS are showing off their ROG Matrix RTX 5090 graphics card. It features a quad-fan layout, with what looks like a blower-style fan on the rear, taking us back to the early 2000s era of graphics cards. The ROG Matrix utilises a vapour chamber design in combination with liquid metal to ensure thermals are kept to a minimum.

In terms of the aesthetic, the Matrix offers the signature metallic ‘ROG red’ across its shrouding, with an infinity mirror lining the curvature of the card towards its right-hand side. Needless to say, it’s a highly unique-looking card, and a massive congratulations to ASUS for hitting their 30th anniversary!

Other Component Highlights

At the booth, ASUS were showing off a few other components that were particularly standout. We saw two brand-new coolers, the ROG Ryuo IV 360 ARGB and the TUF Gaming LC III 360 ARGB. The RYUO IV boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, which can be moved, showcasing various GIFs or programmed lighting. Its powerful pump is designed to bring robust cooling for the latest AMD and Intel CPUs, and thus supports the AM5 and LGA 1851 sockets. ASUS have also utilised 400mm tubing for better case compatibility, minimising obstructions. This cooler comes in white and black, and is definitely geared towards the enthusiast side of the market.

The TUF Gaming LC III, again, is a liquid CPU cooler with a screen, but ASUS have opted for a 2.8-inch IPS LCD, which of course can be customised within their in-house Armory Crate software. It features an efficient pump and pre-installed addressable RGB fans, saving you some hassle during the installation process.

ASUS BTF makes a return with the ROG Crosshair X870E HERO BTF motherboard. We got a look at these during Computex of 2025, so it’s no surprise to see BTF popping up here at Gamescom. This board utilises all of the great features that come with the X870E chipset, which includes better overclocking support, tool-less GPU and SSD slots, debugging and diagnosis tools like the Q-Code LED, Reset CMOS and Flash BIOS buttons.

But of course, the main thing to note here is that with the motherboard being a BTF design, all of the power connectors are on the rear of the PCB. This means you can keep cable management clean and tidy, and maintain a wire-free look at the front of your case. BTF motherboards are expected to drop sometime within Q4 of 2025 or early 2026.

Lastly, there was the new ROG Strix GS-BE7200 router. This is a sleek and compact WiFi 7 router designed to elevate your setup, both in terms of performance and design. Its compact nature allows it to be easily stowed away, or if you’re a fan of the white look with ROG livery, it’ll easily fit in with a white setup.

The Strix GS-BE7200 offers dual-band WiFi 7 with 4K-QAM, which offers excellent bandwidth and minimal interference with multiple devices across your network. It has a fantastic range with its five-antenna setup, robust security, which can be configured through the ASUS Router app, and a streamlined setup allowing you to get gaming straight away!
