Today I’ll be building the ULTIMATE 4K Gaming PC Build for 2018! Featuring the new RTX 2080Ti graphics card, Intel’s Core i7 9700K and Cooler Master’s H500M case, this build is bonkers!
CPU: Intel Core i7 9700K
The Intel core i7 9700K boasts 8 cores, and a ridiculous 4.9GHz Turbo clock speed. One of the best CPUs out there for single threaded performance, this chip excels when gaming, while remaining a very competenet chip for content creation!
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Masterliquid ML360R
Cooler Master’s latest AIO liquid cooler is one beasty unit! With 3 addressable RGB fans mounted on a large 360mm radiator it keeps the CPU cool, providing plenty of overclocking leverage while remaining whisper quiet. Oh and it looks insane!
Motherboard: MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC
One of MSI’s latest motherboard releases, their MPG Z390 Gaming Edge board comes packed with the features you want, including WiFi, 4 RAM dimm slots, SLI and Crossfire, while also pushing overclocking boundaries with beefy VRMs and solid power delivery! The BIOS on this motherboard is also intuitive, feature packed and one of the best in the business.
RAM: ADATA Spectrix D80 16GB (2 x 8GB)
Watercooled memory you say? Yes! This cool kit from ADATA boasts a liquid heatsink up top for superior cooling, 3600MHz speeds out of the box make this one quick kit, and the RGB implementation is pretty neat, too!
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM
Storage selection for any build can be tricky, but what about one of this magnitude? I kept with the trusty HDD and SSD combo, with Seagate’s 2TB Barracuda covering the mass storage base nicely!
SSD: ADATA SX8200 Pro 500GB
For the fast SSD storage in this build, ADATA’s brand NEW SX8200 Pro pushes read and write speeds of upto 3500MB/s for blazing fast boot up and loading times! Doing so at a price that doesn’t break the bank, with a reserved design you can’t go too far wrong!
GPU: MSI RTX 2080Ti Gaming X TRIO
Looking for the best Gaming GPU in 2018/2019? MSI’s spin on the latest Nvidia RTX 2080Ti GPU provides the best gaming experiences, at a pretty eye-watering price. From overclocking headroom, solid stock temps, to RGB and a 3 fan cooler it’s a very nice card for 4K gaming.
Case: Cooler Master H500M
Cooler Master’s latest edition to the ‘H500’ lineup is my favourite yet! Feature packed with USB Type C 3.1 on the front panel, dual 200m addressable RGB fans, cable management covers and a towering footprint (literally!), it provides a superb build experience with room for plenty of hardware.
PSU: Cooler Master V750
One of the more boring (but most important) components on this list the Cooler Master V750 is a sold power supply, with a reliable 80+ Gold efficiency certification, fully modular interface and semi-fanless design to keep noise output to a minimum! Reliability is what you need in a PSU, and this unit has it in abundance!
